3 Mo to $3K/Mo - Realistic or Wishful Thinking?
Goal: $3,000/month in passive dividend income by end of 2026 - no new money in, just reinvesting.
Currently at $2,874/month across a handful of high-yield ETFs. Only need about 4-5% more. At my current reinvestment rate, the math says I could hit it in ~3 months if payouts stay steady.
Anyone else chasing a dividend income target this year? Does the math usually work out this clean, or does reality (rate cuts, price drops) eat into it more than expected?
