This week I made a few changes to keep my portfolio focused on the themes I have the highest conviction in. I took some profits on Amazon after a strong run. I originally held 16 shares and sold 10 into the strength, locking in a solid gain. Iβm still holding my remaining 6 shares, which are currently up about 20%, so I continue to have exposure to a company I believe has plenty of long-term upside. I also added to SoFi after the post-earnings dip. I viewed the pullback as an opportunity rather than a reason to panic, and I was happy to lower my average cost. I added to my favorite etf IGM earlier in the week as the Mag 7 was quite a bit from ATH. I believe the IGM etf was roughly 14% dip from ATH when I purchased more. Finally, I increased my exposure to two areas Iβm especially bullish on over the next decade: power infrastructure and AI. I bought more shares of Constellation Energy and added to the AIPO ETF, continuing to lean into what I believe will be some of the biggest long-term growth trends. I donβt mind taking profits when positions become outsized, especially if it allows me to reallocate capital into my highest-conviction ideas. Long-term investing is about continually refining the portfolio, not just buying and holding forever. What changes did you make to your portfolio this week?
