Weekly Portfolio Update, A Quiet Week (7/25 - 8/1)
After all the trades and covered calls last week, this week was pretty quiet. Sometimes doing less is the right move. - Added $99 of new money to the Individual account. - Bought 6 shares of $BBDC at $8.34. - Received a $25.82 dividend from $CSWC in the Roth. - Reinvested part of that dividend into 1 additional share of CSWC at $23.76. That was it. The portfolio finished the week at approximately $48,900 between the Individual and Roth accounts. Now I’m content to collect dividends, let the covered calls work, and wait for the next opportunity. Not every week needs to be exciting. Sometimes the best move is simply letting the portfolio do its job.
