🎯 100% RETURN — PORTFOLIO OFFICIALLY DOUBLED
On July 13, 2023, I started this portfolio with a simple long term goal:
Double my money every 5 years.
Today, just over 3 years later, the portfolio officially crossed +100%, reaching +100.36% since inception.
For comparison, the S&P 500 (SPY) returned +75.22% over the same period.
My original goal was to reach 100% by July 2028. I managed to get there roughly 1 year and 11 months ahead of schedule.
I’m proud of the milestone, but I also know markets don’t move in straight lines. There have already been some significant swings along the way, and there will be plenty more.
The strategy remains the same: own high quality businesses, think long term, stay disciplined, and let compounding do the heavy lifting.
