Everyone is talking about it, nobody wants to say it directly So I’ll just say it 👇 A recession is always coming, eventually . 🇨🇦 The question isn’t IF, it’s WHEN. And more important, are you prepared? 💡 Here’s my honest take , on where we are right now 👇 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📊 WHAT I’M SEEING Market feels choppy right now. There’s real weakness in a few sectors, money keeps hopping into value and SAAS. Interest rates are still pretty elevated, and consumer debt is at record highs. The housing scene is under pressure too. 🏠 None of this looks like an instant crash. But none of it looks like everything is perfectly fine either. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🤖 THE AI WILDCARD Here’s the part that makes this cycle feel different, compared to before 👇 AI spending is building a brand new economic engine. $MU just reported $41.5B revenue. $NVDA is basically printing money every quarter, and data center buildout is accelerating. This kind of technological shift, doesn’t really care about classic recession tells the same way. 💡 CANADA, SPECIFICALLY Our housing market is dangerously over-valued. Consumer debt feels massive. Our economy is more vulnerable than most Canadians kinda admit. If the US hits a recession, Canada probably takes a harder knock than most people are ready for. 😭 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ How I’m prepping 👇 ✅ Keeping some cash, ready to deploy on dips ✅ Staying diversified, kind of VFV as the base layer ✅ Continuing DCA, honestly recession or not I keep contributing every single two weeks ✅ No panic mode Every recession in history got followed by new highs ✅ Holding conviction positions NBIS. GOOGL. ASTS. MU. Solid businesses survive recessions and they usually emerge stronger ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The investors who panic during a recession usually lose money. The investors who buy during a recession tend to build real wealth. 💪 I can’t say if one is coming. Nobody really can.
