Thirty seconds later you're in a battle in the comments... someone is yelling 'JUST BUY $VFV!!!!!' and another swears by an all in one like $XEQT, someone else says bonds are for dinosaurs grandpa... and somehow you're even more confused than when you started. Yup. Totally truth. I'm a beginner, made huge mistakes off the start. And then started looking up stuff and researching. Then noticed the headache it created. It's like asking what church to go too on FB locally. You'll get 4500 different answers. Lol. I'm still struggling. Especially with diversity IN my portfolio. Some say build it with a foundation, and it's like 20%. Then build from there. But, I also hear answers like yours where they say "build it with vlv or whatever and that's a higher %, like 60%. Some say buy 50 stocks and build. Others buy only etfs. It's really down to risk vs reward. And reaching out when your account struggles. I'm also frustrated a little with blossom. People gloat on their earnings, and they get 300 replys. But you ask a simple help question and get 2. Why? You pay to get help and wasn't this created for that? Guidance. I'm not expecting results, just courage to mentor a bit. But, all I see is people bragging how they've hit a mark, yet they don't respond to messages nor questions. Frustrating.

The best pizza is a free one. My position would depend on what stage of life the beginner investor is starting whether it be their earlier years or later on life to create a baseline assessment.

That last point really slaps. Which etf won’t be introducing a new investor to panic selling. Steady growth to get a feel for the market.
