$NU vs $HOOD— Why I Prefer NU 🇧🇷 I like both, but if I’m putting my money behind one for the long term, I’m taking $NU. NU already has 135M+ customers, just crossed $5B in quarterly revenue, and produced $871M in net income in Q1 2026. Mexico is already at 15M customers and reached profitability, while Brazil still has a massive runway. (Nu International) HOOD is an amazing business, but I think NU has the better combination of growth, valuation and long-term runway. To me, NU has a better chance of becoming a massive global financial platform, not just a great brokerage. I’m confident holding $NU long term. 🚀

Totally agree NU is so low mainly because of how many shares were sold when they had their IPO and the unstable interest rates that they have and the larger defaults on the loans, but the business as a whole is doing great, great year over year growth, margins are great, profit is great, and they have opportunities to at Hood doesn’t. Hood is in a market that is already established which means less opportunity for growth and more competition, NU doesn’t have that much competition. NU is definitely a long term investment though, it’ll be a long time before it makes crazy returns in my opinion.

Cute kitty. I've heard the same pump about sofi for years. If I had a dollar for every time I see someone telling me sofi will go up I'd have a few million

I held Nu for quite awhile and just recently decided to sell. I think your point is amazing. I also think Nu stands far ahead to ones like robinhood and SoFi and for this reason has a higher future growth potential. The reason I sold it was to focus on $MELI, a mix of fintech, advertising, and e-commerce. I believe this company can dominate Latin America in the future by building an enormous infrastructure network. It also has an incredible flywheel, by it being able to expand the fintech position through its e-commerce network. And finally if you compared its fintech growth to Nu the difference between them is shrinking fast. And that’s just one segment of the business lol. I love Nu too, I don’t want this comment to make me seem like a bear.
