NVIDIA was already a great company before the AI boom started. If companies stop buying as many chips for AI, or AI doesn’t grow the way people expect, NVIDIA could have a bad month or even a bad year. But I don’t think that changes the fact that it’s still a strong company.
They still have the PC and gaming market to fall back on. If AI companies stop buying so many chips, GPUs will likely become cheaper and easier to get. I think a lot of gamers, PC builders, and creators would buy them in a heartbeat, which could help make up for some of the sales NVIDIA lost from AI and keep the company strong over the long term.
But who knows really it’s up to you if you want to take that risk
