I donāt mean this pessimistically at all. I always see people say something along the lines of, ābuild a thesis and stick with it.ā But, what if people are making countless uneducated or biased thesisā that are problematic? I.E. perhaps someoneās thesis is that their whole portfolio will be built around Covered Call holdings so they never need to drawdown, and just simply rely on the yield/distribution payouts. Naturally, thereās several issues with this theory (sequence of return risk, etc.)
This isnāt to say your thesis is problematic; who am I to judge? Itās just a thought Iāve often had that feels particularly relevant here.
