If you were my 16 yr old. I’d tell you to read - A simple path to wealth by JL Collins and psychology of money by Morgan Housal. I would also tell you to get off these apps and/or don’t listen to 99% of the ppl telling you most things on these app. Anywho, I think this portfolio and percentages look great if you can hold and buy when all your money gets cut in half 2-3 times in your lifetime.

Young as you are you can afford a little bit more of risk. I would go 40% $QQQM, 40% $VOO and 20% $SCHD.

That’s an excellent portfolio for a new investor. You’ll get to experience the volatility of QQQM vs the stability of SCHD, to see how you react to volatility and corrections. As a young investor, you should focus on growth rather than dividends. But the current allocations are a good starting point.
