PSA/Reminder: THERE WILL BE SELLERS! Below snapshot shows the timing of when current shareholders are able to EXIT (if they wish). Example: 44% of shares eligible for sale at 90 day mark. There will also be Forced Buying: ⢠NASDAQ inclusion day 15 ⢠SP500 inclusion after 180 days. In addition to the Broader Market Index ETFs thereâs no doubt many Covered Call ETF providers will launch more high fee / high margin products that benefit them given DIY investors willingness to continue to pay high fees (for little/no real value add outside of the premiums). Why wouldnât they? Itâs much easier to make bank off popular single stocks then actually come up with any kind of intelligent Index strategy. đ¤ˇââď¸ But I also believe SpaceX is one of the most broadly held Private companies. While many DIY investors are âlooking forwardâ to the IPO many âearly investorsâ will be using the IPO as their opportunity to take profits (exit). So itâs far from certain that it will see additional gains post IPO (based on #s Iâve read) but anything is possible so weâll see what happensns in the battle of the late dreamer/speculator and the early investors / profit takers. Personally I have never participated in an IPO directly and wonât be looking to participate in SpaceX. (But thatâs just me). As always - for those considering - position size matters. Do whatâs best for you. đ âââ- PS/BONUS FOR THOSE WHO ACTUALLY READ MY POSTS: Canadian investors have had access to SpaceX for years through TSX: $STCK which is a publicly traded CDN company (2021) that provides access to late stage private companies (some now already public). Having helped them (and others) list other vehicles linked to SpaceX for the Advisor channel while at NEO/Cboe exchange I know many of these investors will have already seen XX growth on their early investments. Many more of these type of listings exist (especially in US) so itâs hard to imagine many of these âearlyâ investors not capitalizing on their gains when liquidity becomes available. Full Disclosure: I have owned small positions (<1%) in $STCK previously (yes I regret selling). Currently I do NOT own but I will likely take a future position again at some point (once the dust settles on current euphoria) as I see it as one of the most efficient ways to add âliquid privateâ exposure. Visit Stack website directly for more info if you wish to consider/explore their portfolio of companies and other details. As always - do whatâs best for you. đđ Perspective â Prediction Awareness â Endorsement https://www.stackcapitalgroup.com/investment
