Right, it's not balanced.
I think that's what a lot of people don't consider when blindly dumping into an index.
It's very likely you'll be fine as index investing has been quite strong over the long term.
But I still think there should be some thought on:
- If you'd buy another index to complement these positions.
- If you'd buy certain, high conviction stock positons in uderrepresented sectors.
- If maybe the balance isn't right for what you're looking for and you should consider a different index.
