The United States is a net total energy exporter. They can EASILY replace ALL of Canada's business. This situation is perfectly representative of Canada's weakness, the USA's strength and Canadian media/political/citizenry foolishness. The United States imports a small fraction of its electricity, totaling roughly 33.25 terawatt-hours (TWh)—or about 27.2 million megawatt-hours from Canada alone—which accounts for roughly 1% of total U.S. electricity consumption. 60% of their heavy crude comes from Alberta - hello renewed separation sentiment. The USA can and will also easily replace that if they have to. Ramping up business with Mexico and fast tracking Venezuelan imports could largely replace Canada's business - likely won't happen - but is that what you retards want?
