I’m looking to add a healthcare stock to my portfolio and would love to hear what everyone is buying and why. Whether it’s pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech, health insurance, or healthcare ETFs, what do you think has the best long-term potential?

One of the best healthcare companies is Eli Lilly (LLY). They’ve been around for over 150 years and have built a strong reputation in the pharmaceutical industry. They’re also one of only three companies that dominate the global insulin market, which gives them competitive advantage. For many people with diabetes, insulin is a lifelong treatment, creating consistent long-term demand for their products If you’re looking to buy Eli Lilly using CAD I’d suggest either the LLY CDR, which lets you invest in Canadian dollars, or LLHE, an ETF that holds Lilly pays a strong monthly dividend
