Here is a great chart showing why diversification is so important. Every year a different asset class wins. Except for 2023 & 2024 where Large Cap was first in both years. You have a some options for diversification. 1. You can either mix and match from the ETFs below or other similar ETFs. 2. You can mix and match stocks from each category. 3. You could just pick the asset classes you want, because you “know” what the market is going to do. 4. Or you could just buy one of these all in one ETFs and chill. $ZEQT, $TEQT, $CEQY, $MEQT, $HEQT, $CEQT, $FEQT, $VEQT, $GEQT, $XEQT. I’m in the middle of changing my portfolio. Well when I say “change” I mean improve 😂 I’ve started to add $VIDY and $FCIN for global coverage (excluding Canada land and America land). I will be buying more as well as a lot more $VEQT over the upcoming weeks. I know VEQT already covers everything that VIDY and FCIN cover (more than likely). However I don’t see any harm in giving Western Europe and SE Asia a boost! VIDY 1yr growth = 31% 5yr growth = 80% FCIN 1yr growth = 28% 5yr growth = 48% Just wish fidelity would calm down on their overwhelming greed for fees!
