Today’s winners defended my portfolio very well. These were the more defensive and higher quality names as the market rotated away from high-beta growth and tech companies. These are great times to buy in those tech dips so when we rotate back, we then buy defensive ones. 🔄 Always trying to keep the perfect balance. ⚖️ * $WMT (+2.69%) - My biggest winner. Rebound after last week’s sharp post-earnings drop. The dip was bought today amid a rotation into large-cap consumer and retail * $AMZN (+1.35%) - Amazon benefited from being a mega-cap consumer/tech name than a pure semiconductor or speculative growth stock. * $KO (+1.27%) - Classic defensive company. Outperformed tech as money moved into lower-volatility blue chips. I feel that today's red day is in part of the $NVDA pre-earnings jitters (earnings Wednesday) and rotation out of tech and into blue chip and defensive companies. Let's see what happens tomorrow!
