I just kind of put my mind inside of an AI server since they were booming, thought what was needed, researched, and researched some more. I ended up with micron, Nvidia, palantir, and GE Vernova

I always ask GPTchat if its a Risky stock OR Core stock.... my focus on Core stocks And if a stock has a good cash flow

Looking at my stocks with the top 10 best returns, the most important consideration was competitive positioning (all were strong & growing). It almost always starts with strong & growing moats for me! I obviously went deeper and made sure profitability metrics were trending well and balance sheets were strong. The last part can be the toughest in raging bull markets, but I bought at valuations that made sense relative to fundamentals which really played a big role in driving long term returns.... There was obviously more that went into the research and whatnot, but this simplified explanation shares the gist of what I look for...
