Okay can we talk about one of the most underrated ETFs for beginners? π All-in-one ETFs. Like $ZEQT I genuinely wish I knew about these when I first startedβ¦ they basically solve the "I don't know what to buy" problem in one shot π Here's the deal: an all-in-one ETF is one ticker that already holds thousands of stocks from all over the world. Canadian, US, international, emerging markets β already diversified for you. You don't have to pick. Why I love them: - One purchase = exposure to thousands of companies - Already balanced across regions for you - Automatically rebalances itself (you don't lift a finger) - MERs are still pretty low (around 0.20-0.25%) - Perfect "set it and forget it" option ZEQT is one of my biggest holdings for a reason π When I just want to keep contributing without overthinking, this is the one I default to. XEQT (iShares), VEQT (Vanguard), and ZEQT (BMO) are basically the big three β very similar with slightly different mixes under the hood. The 100% equity ones (XEQT/VEQT/ZEQT) are more growth-focused. There are also 80/20 or 60/40 versions if you want some bond exposure to smooth things out π€·π»ββοΈ Honestly if you're brand new and just want ONE thing to buy each month β an all-in-one ETF is hard to beat π Not financial advice, always do your own research! Are you team all-in-one, or do you like building your own mix? π
