What's not mentioned is the break down of the declining population. Right now, there are 3 workers for every pensioner. The ratio will flip. Also, there is a huge populist movement to push out foreigners who are paying tax and into pension, AI robotic automation cannot come soon enough. Politicians will always pick the least painful path which is money printing, understating inflation and sacrificing currency exchange rate. USA and other G20 are following the same path. 4% on 60/40 will get slaughtered.
