Im finally settled back into university and Im ahead on school work! I just got paid so no other time to invest than today! Earlier this week I received a cheque for 76.52 and invested the full thing! Next week my weekly $100 dollars + an extra $100 from today!! All going to $XEQT in the FHSA. RRSP contributions are on hold because I’m not making nearly enough for 30% of my weekly contributions to make enough of a difference for me to want to invest in my RRSP lol. ALSO I finally got access to my FHSA, RRSP, and CRYPTO ranking!!! so sick - I’d say I’m doing pretty well! #10,900 in all of canada - I’ll take that anyday! Cheers everyone let’s keep buyingggggg

Investing the whole $76.52 cheque instead of spending it says a lot. That weekly $100 into XEQT is going to compound nicely. How are you likingg the FHSA so far?

Congratulations 🔥🎉 Just want to let you know there are some CRA traps you should know about like if your common law partner already has bought their first home and your fhsa for the new home may or may not be eligible, also after you take out the fhsa money for first home i believe you are supposed to finish some kind of paperwork/closing before next year or some certain time. I am learning new stuff . Most people will tell you to put money efficiently but very few people talk about the gotcha or traps Youtube - Hudson Bay Finance Great channel I recently found for Canadian personal finance. I am not promoting or associated with channel in any capacity or means
