I’m 26 years old and just maxed out my TFSA ($60,000) sitting in cash. I was always skittish on investing but finally came to realize what I’ve been missing out on. Here is how I’m thinking about breaking down my portfolio. I have a full pension with work but don’t want to just rely on that. This just gives me extra freedom for retirement so I am comfortable with a more aggressive approach.

Hi James - congratulations on getting started. With how tech heavy you are, be prepared to weather pull backs. It can be hard to watch your gains evaporate in a pull back, but tech heavy portfolios will be very volatile. Personally, and cause you asked.... with the overlap you have in the S and P (lots of tech there), your NASDAQ ETF and your individual holdings, I would eliminate SPMO and XLV. I would cut VFV in half and put that freed up 25% into something like $XEQT . That's just me though. If you're good with riding the waves of a tech heavy portfolio then have at it! All the best.

Looks good, but have you considered an all in one. No rebalancing necessary. Something like $ZEQT, $GEQT, $TEQT etc are globally diversified in thousands of companies across multiple sectors.

Switch the allocation of SPMO and VFV. For the rest that's a good portfolio IMO
