Mount Hekla (Hecla): This volcano in Iceland was historically seen by Europeans as one of the “gates of hell” due to its frequent eruptions. The dramatic imagery of molten earth and fire made it a fitting metaphor for a company digging into the earth for valuable metals. Symbolism: The name Hecla gives a sense of power, nature’s force, and the extraction of riches from deep within the earth exactly what a mining company does.

I’ve been adding to this one slowly and just realized I have 200 shares now! I’ve bought too many mining company stocks, so I’m digging in trying to figure out which ones to consolidate into it. Feels like it makes more sense to put a good amount to a few likely winners over spreading out too thin with a bit in a lot of different stocks. Just re reading knowledge transfer series 😊👌 and pouring over seeking alpha etc
