Amazon ($AMZN) is reportedly in talks to acquire Decart, an AI startup specializing in real-time video generation, virtual world simulations, and AI infrastructure. Decart is known for two major AI models: Lucy – Uses AI to transform and edit live videos in real time. Oasis – Creates interactive virtual environments using AI. So why does Amazon want it? The acquisition could strengthen Amazon Web Services (AWS), support its growing AI chip business, and help Amazon compete in the rapidly expanding AI industry. Interestingly, Decart was valued at nearly $4 billion in May 2026.
