Anthropic's S-1 is Public.. Ready for a Deep Dive?
After months of waiting and actively avoiding the spoilers, leaked drafts and funding round headlines. This morning they finally filed the S-1 and it’s set to go live on SEC EDGAR today! If you’ve been following for a while you know that means I'm clearing my calendar to read it tonight and you guys will be getting a pretty detailed deep dive of everything inside the filings by tomorrow. 🙌🙌😅😅 If you’re interested in the company or IPO I can promise you this deep dive will be your go to reference for all things Anthropic and you can check the SPCX IPO deep dive on my profile for reference. The juicy stuff is usually sitting in the footnotes and the risk factors that no one covers in the news… this is a sample of what I usually go after in these IPOs: - Cash flow statement before the income statement, how they are funding losses? - Compute commitments: how much is noncancellable, and who it's owed to (that can give us a lot of visibility on other companies benefiting) - Customer concentration and risks - Share classes, float size, lockup mechanics If you aren’t following me yet, I would invite you to do so to keep track when this epic Anthropic IPO deep dive is released tomorrow.
