When you first start investing, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by thousands of ETFs, expense ratios, AI trends, semiconductors, and trying to figure out what’s going to “moon” next. 📈 But honestly, I think the most important thing at the beginning is consistency. Start by investing regularly into broad, diversified ETFs such as $VT, $IVV, $QQQM, or $SCHD, depending on your goals and risk tolerance. The goal at first isn’t to find the perfect investment. It’s to build the habit of investing every month and understand how the markets actually work and fluctuate during different situations and news. Once you’ve built that consistency, you can start researching other ETFs, sectors, strategies, and opportunities to see what fits your goals better. Consistency first. Optimization later. What advice would you give someone making their first investment? 👇

Consistency first, optimization later is exactly what I needed to hear. I spent way too long comparing expense ratios before I had even made my first buy. Just getting started with a simple broad ETF and learning as I go has been way less stressful.ll.
