Down $3,000 because of one simple mistake. I meant to buy a META $750 put, but I rushed and accidentally bought a call instead. If I had clicked the right contract, I would’ve been up around $5,000. To make it worse, my phone froze and I couldn’t even close the position when I wanted to. Moral of the story: slow down, double-check every order, and make sure you’re pressing the right button before you confirm. One rushed click can cost you thousands.

Yikes! I did something similar recently but I was able to reverse it relatively quick and only lost transaction fees + bid/ask spread.

Options is unforgiving given your expiration date. 0DTE. No room for error. But the call premiums and short premiums, would have been quite different? Is it not?
