People, let's try to have intellectual discussions on this platform when we have differences in opinion. I learn from arguments, but unfortunately someone just blocked me for a simple argument over a company I'm invested in and bought this morning. Surprise, it's $PLTR bum bum bummm. I don't agree with everything Palantir does. Does it worry me? Yes. Would I consider divesting in the future? Yes. I have openly talked about my issues and conflicting feelings regarding Palantir and Alex Karp on Blossom. But financially, the company has been good to me, and I can't pass opportunities like this up. That's the reality. That doesn't doesn't mean that I would ever support the IDF or ICE. You can't just make assumptions like that about people.

$PLTR has honestly changed my life. I got in around $17 and continued to DCA up to around $37. At one point, I had 300 shares, but I eventually sold 100 shares at my book cost and used that money to buy 100 shares of AMD at $100. And, well… we all know what happened with AMD. People can say whatever they want about PLTR, but I’m not an activist investor, and I don’t pretend to be one. I’m here to make money and, ultimately, improve my family’s life. That’s what investing is about for me.

People on this site are pathetic if they block you for making an investment decision. This is your money and if you want to buy shares of a company that you feel will continue to go up in value then that’s what counts. Making money! You invest to make money that’s it that’s all. It has nothing to do with the IDF. The same logic holds true to buying Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, General Dynamics.

Sorry to hear you got blocked by a friend. That’s hard. I said something to be ironic and got blocked the other day by someone who thought I was serious. Didn’t know them, but felt bad I couldn’t explain. I agree with Matt, yet I don’t invest in PLTR because I want them to make their products idiot-proof because they are just so immensely powerful. I have stocks I don’t invest in for personal reasons even though they are great stocks, but I would not impose my views on other people. I think there are too many walls up between different people with different ideologies now, and I hope that changes so we can work from what we all have in common.

Seen enough around Blossom that there’s at least one person that will be offended and put off by any post. there are many that can’t accept if you don’t invest and think like they do…then go around calling everyone else as being part of a cult because you haven’t accept their and others ideology… When I first joined blossom, being a PLTR holder was the trendy punching bag. The virtue signallers have moved on to their next target.
