Broadcom ($AVGO) is the headline of the day, climbing ocer 4% after news broke of a deepened partnership with OpenAI to dvelop next-gen custom AI chips. The deal shows that the race to build proprietary silicon for the frontier AI models isn't slowing down, if anything it's speeding up! $AVGO is up roughly $15 on the session, the ripple effect is lifting the rest of the semiconductoe space along with it. Microsoft is quietly having a moment too. Shares climbed about 1.4% and challenged the key $532 resistance level, driven by continued enthusiasm around Azure's AI growth. $MSFT has been a steady compounder in this AI cycle, and today's move suggests bulls are still willing to press the thesis at these levels. The broad market is holding firm but not blowing out. SPY is up around 0.70%, QQQ about 0.60%, and the Dow is clocking a modest 0.61% gain.
