Building A high Income EQCL
In a previous topic I looked at the breakdown of All-In-Ones and suggested one could improve upon EQCL. I suggested it's TR growth range of 15-28%, it's actually 15%+ right now, and has been 20%+ since inception, so a steady ROI is desirable. However it's yield has been around 10-11%, which is fine if all you need is distribution income. However if you are of the mindset "always be buying" and are looking for income + distribution reinvest for share growth, then a higher yield is needed. I have constructed two portfolios which preserve it's geographic market breakdown, but have higher yield ETFs. The first is a simple one for one substitution, and the second portfolio is higher income correcting for the International (ex. N.A.) and Emerging market's lower yields adding a mixed International and Emerging Market high yield ETF. I would expect more volatility with higher yields so that is part of the ride. Enjoy!
