Chips bounced back, and futures are pointing up after the midterms. Tuesday's scorecard: $SPY rose 0.4% (S&P 500 at 7,569) and $QQQ 's Nasdaq gained 0.8% to 25,372, led by semiconductors (+2.6%). $DIA slipped 0.4% to 51,787 as Apple fell 1.9% on a weak margin outlook. Strong job openings (7.5M) pushed the 10-year yield up to about 4.95%. This morning: Dow futures +0.7%, S&P futures +0.3%, Nasdaq futures +0.3%. AMD and Super Micro are both up around 6% premarket on earnings beats. Palantir is a little lower. Oil is still near $100.
