๐ Stocks snapped a three-day losing streak Wednesday as Treasury yields cooled off their multiyear highs. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq each advanced 0.5%, the Dow added 0.6% and Canada's S&P/TSX Composite climbed 0.74%. ๐ป Dell Technologies ($DELL) surged 13% to lead the S&P 500 after beating on both lines and lifting its fiscal 2027 revenue forecast on AI server strength. ๐ Palo Alto Networks ($PANW ) dropped 10% to finish last in the S&P 500 despite better than expected fourth quarter results. ๐ Uber ($UBER ) rose more than 1.5% after saying it will cut 10% of its workforce, roughly 3,300 roles. The restructuring trims management layers by 20% and leaves just 1% of staff working remotely. โก PG&E ($PCG ) fell another 7%, extending Monday's plunge. The utility launched a strategic and financial review of a possible reorganization and deferred $2 billion in 2027 capital spending to limit higher-cost borrowing. ๐๏ธ The 10-year Treasury yield touched 4.818%, its highest since November 2023, before easing back to flat and giving equities room to run. Oil kept climbing, with WTI settling up almost 1% at $91.01 and Brent at $95.63.
