With $100,000 portfolio for income I’d go mostly index covered call: 50% snp500 (USCL, HYLD etc) 35% Nasdaq (HHIS) 5% TSX (cause I’m Canadian HDIV) 10% HBTE (mixed crypto )

I have a real portfolio I made for a friend that kind of fits this request with $94,500 in a TFSA about a year and a half ago now. BMAX 500s BANK 2000 GDV 1500 HDIV 1200 UMAX 1250 HHIS 475 HDIF 1200 HHL 1200 I plan on replacing HDIF with more HHIS and HHL with HHLE, to boost monthly income without much more risk. The goal was to have some nav appreciation combined with decent monthly income without any dividend reinvestment or new money added. So far it has succeeded. The $94 k has grown to about $105 k and she removes $1120. Out from the account each month to pay bills.
