Trump aint wrong. Half of them coming in cant speak English let alone understand a road sign. So how do you expect they will be net benefit vs a net drag (abusing social welfare benefits). More reason to buy USD denominated equities.

Plenty of studies have shown that immigration, despite initial issues, provides a net benefit to Canada (and the US, for that matter). That's not to say that there aren't issues, but these types of populist politicians keep repeating this BS narrative to rile up their bases. Not to mention, they never seem to look at the bigger picture (why are there so many people trying to immigrate? Could it have something to do with how the US has displaced them in the first place?). Immigration is good for business, you just gotta do it right.

Liberals, acting for the Crown, are bringing in cheap labour from the developing world to replace costly, benefit-dependent Boomers. The irony is that Boomers keep voting them in. Canadian elections will be studied for decades.
