Everyday People Don’t Have An Investment Mindset
As many of you know I’ve been on an aggressive path trying to get as much money in the market as possible as soon as possible. Using my money, borrowing money, 0% balance transfers whatever is at my disposal if the spread is reasonable. What if I told you I had an opportunity to get a guaranteed 10% return on your investment within a year? Would you take it? I’ve been offering my coworkers the sweet deal if they lend me 10k I’d pay them back 11k in less than a year and guess what nobody said yes. 😂 My thoughts are they don’t have 10k, they don’t trust me, or they are dumb. Anyways. Happy Investing everyone!

You are completely right that the vast majority of people do not have a long-term investment mindset. Because of this, creators who chase massive follower counts are forced to post content that appeals to the masses which usually means entertaining, viral, or "get-rich-quick" content, rather than sound financial strategies. If your goal is to build genuine wealth for yourself, focusing on a massive following can actually hurt you but each their own

It’s crazy. I have a few friends in their late 20s and early 30s who don’t have any investments whatsoever. Investing is a topic that they’re afraid of and just never actually looked into and it makes me wonder what their future would look like. To each their own

Never a good idea to borrow from family or friends, especially with a repay date a year out. What if something happens to them and they need the money back and you don't have it right then? It's just leads to problems somewhere along the way.
