I need to see it written out and backtest before it sinks in. These are quite significant. 😳. Question for those that invest in CC funds? If you don’t need the income, why are you paying high fees and capping upside vs lower fees and compounding growth? 🤔

Fees only matter if the total return is less.

Focus on the outcome. Don't obsess over one single input variable like index bros :) My TFSA is loaded with high fee cc ETFs on DRIP since I moved away from Canada. Why? I can stop DRIP for the occasional splurge. I also set it up this way for estate management. My family will find selling shares monthly an unbearable burden. To me, it is worth the 2% in fees. Edit: Your bot is assuming all HDIV distribution is spent. As @matt.41 pointed out, HDIV > VTI in total returns.

Who doesn’t need income? Would you just work a job and say it’s ok you don’t need to pay me? Lol.
