I just did hit my biggest financial breakthrough of my life. Honestly, it still doesn’t feel real. This is more than just a number in an account, it feels like a dream coming true. ❤️ I came to Canada in mid-2022 as an international student with one suitcase, big dreams, and no idea how far this journey would take me. I started from $18/hour, worked, saved, invested, learned from my mistakes, and kept going. Was stuck in that loop of minimum wage till this year beginning that is for 3 straight years. I upskilled myself last year and worked my ass off to get my field job this year. Three years later after consistent investing, seeing that $100K number feels incredibly emotional. 🥹 And if I can do this while starting from scratch and working an $18/hour job, I genuinely believe it’s possible for many others in Canada too. It’s not about making huge money overnight. It’s about being consistent, living below your means when you can, investing patiently, and giving yourself enough time. To anyone who is just starting: your first $10K might feel impossible. Your first $50K might feel far away. But keep going. Such a great milestone! And so incredible that you can celebrate via upgraded status with wealth simple & this community When I saved my first 100k it was just another day, I couldn’t tell anyone & no platform was there to support what’s next. I put it into another GIC until I found a rental property to buy .. Sometimes it feels like we are climbing a hill where if anyone knows you’re climbing you risk falling back .. So CELEBRATE 🙌🏼 this is awesome for you …
