I wanted to see how HHIS (Harvest Diversified High Income Shares ETF) stacks up against 9 other Canadian-listed broad-market income ETFs. Here's what caught my attention: 🔥 HHIS offers the highest forward yield at 27.03%, but ranks only 7th out of 10 in total return. 🏆 HDIV leads at +26.80%, despite offering a much lower 10.04% yield. 📊 HHIC stands out with a 17.39% yield and +20.72% total return. My takeaway: HHIS is clearly attractive for investors prioritizing immediate cash flow, but several competing broad-market ETFs have delivered stronger total returns with lower headline yields. Again I still love HHIS and it is my top holding as of today.

Like most situations its all about when you bought Units.....CC's are no different than stocks or other ETFs, you have to buy on selloffs....not at tops...

I don’t think choosing 1 year returns really helps give the right picture of this etf. It was at its ath in October last year. It’s average nav has been around its ipo price so trying to depict a return depends very much at the prices you purchased your shares for.

Yea HDIV is a genius ETF in its structure. Pretty sure it only writes CC on VOO or something so that everything else within it has more upside

$HDIV is a power house. Always look at total returns, not yield%.
