House flips in midterms: AI's blank cheque ends 🇺🇸
— Now that it’s official and Democrats have won the House in today's midterms, the unlimited spending vibe for the AI industry is hitting a real political wall. This lines up directly with what we have seen on the ground with massive data center power demands clashing with actual grid limits. With new House leadership, expect tighter regulatory oversight on tech energy consumption, grid strain, and infrastructure handouts. - Good to know: A single hyperscale AI data center campus can easily require as much electricity as a mid-sized city, which is why local power grids and consumer advocates are aggressively pushing back against unchecked energy allocations. - Market Impact for Tomorrow: Expect increased near-term volatility for mega-cap tech and semiconductor stocks as Wall Street prices in a stricter regulatory environment for data centers and AI capital expenditures. Capital is likely to rotate defensively toward reliable core indexing like $VOO, $XIC, $VTI, $XEQT, and $VT physical infrastructure, and traditional energy/hard assets. It’s a timely reminder to anchor portfolios with reliable core holdings and focus on real infrastructure rather than pure tech hype. How are you positioning your portfolio for this shift in US Government? — This is for informational and educational purposes only.

if Dems win both house and senate....bad news for the market. (nasdaq / s&p) congress alone is ok but both could give too much leverage for liberals. not sure how the market may react moving forward. usually gridlock is great after mid term...but this time the republicans have been literally Wiped out.
