I’ve talked alot in the Weekly Buzz and other places about how I think many investors are overexposed to the S&P 500 so I’m finally putting my money where my mouth is and building my international exposure! A few reasons I documented back in April: 1) Based on PEs, international is trading at a discount (image 1) 2) S&P is aggressively weighted into Mag 7 (making up 30%+ of the index) 3) Currency fluctuations have made international returns (particularly the MSCI EAFE) returns look worse than they are. The particular ETF I’m buying here is $ZEA which tracks the MSCI Index. It covers Japan, UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, etc and holds stocks like $ASML$NVO$SAP$NEST$TOYM and more 😎

I think many investors are overexposed to the US. Many people just don't know how to invest outside of North America. I aim to keep about 50% of my portfolio in US equities with 18% in developed international markets outside of the US and Canada, and 7% in international emerging markets
