Invest in minimum of 100 dollars biweekly for life
Hello guys, back again with a question. I want to invest this amount of 100 dollars biweekly or 50 dollars a week for the rest of my life. I chose to do it myself and not with a bank or such (cut costs / personal choice). I want to find a fund or a few funds to be able to invest it forever without making it too complicated. I am 25 years old (I’m also doing this for my brother, he is 19).using compound calculator with an average of 10% yearly this would make me around 1 million dollars in 40 years). PS I am paying off my car and as soon as that is done I will start investing more aggressively. (Should be in Jan 2027, few months) I’m debating between the following: - XEQT Or - VFV Which fund would you recommend? Should I split 70-30 XEQT and VFV? Thank you in advance!

Can't go wrong with $XEQT as well. Globally diversified and something you can hold for the rest of your investing journey 😄. Awesome stuff helping your little brother out too 🙌

$XEQT is globally diversified in thousands of companies across multiple sectors. $VFV is concentrated in 500 US companies, with 38.68% invested in tech compared to $XEQT’s 24.71% investment in tech.

My opinion would be $VFV because it tracks the sp500 index. Nothing wrong with $XEQT if you are a believer in being as diversified as you can get.
