Ran My First 5K Today!!
Ran the CIBC Run for the Cure this morning. 42:47, in the rain, and honestly the rain made it better.
Nobody at that start line was fast. Everybody was just... there. Showing up. And that's the whole game.
It's the same thing I feel about investing. You don't need to be the fastest or the smartest. You just need to keep showing up, every paycheck, every month, rain or shine. The $250 going into my FHSA every two weeks isn't exciting. Neither is the kilometre 4 in the rain. But both get you somewhere.
Finish lines and finish goals work the same way.
