Hi All! In the past I have always put 99% of my investments into single companies, but as I get into my later 20’s… I wanted to take off some of the risk. I already own VEQT in a cash account as my emergency fund, but I wanted to add some ETF’s into my registered account. I was thinking of adding XDIV, VFV, and SCHD. Do you guys have any thoughts on these or any better ideas for growth ETFs + growth and dividend.

$VEQT is 100% equities and globally diversified in thousands of companies across multiple sectors. Historically it has had pretty good growth. If you want more growth than that, you could always take a chance on specific sectors. Tech - $QQC, $TEC, $FINN, $TECI etc. Metals/mining - $ZGD, $XETM, $XBM, $XMA etc. space - $ORBX Energy- $HXE, $HURA Defence - $CAMO$SHLD Infrastructure - $CIF, $QINF, $TINF, $ZGI

ALL GOOD OPTIONS IN MY OPINION. ETFS ARE THE WAY TO GO. I'VE TRIED EVERY STRATEGY THERE IS, ITS BY FAR BEEN THE BEST INVESTING DECISION IVE MADE

I'm on the ETF side too, mostly because picking individual winners feels stressful when you're just starting out. This is a solid shortlist though, and it's great to see how many people here swear by VFV.

For a RRSP, I love $SPMO. It has growth higher that $VFV and when the market drops, historically the downturns have been less pronounced too.
