I forgot to post this yesterday, my bad! My portfolio paid out $117.83 this week, and my yield on cost is 43.95%. That’s getting close to slipping below my 12-month trailing yield after the beating my portfolio has taken from the AI and chip sell-offs in recent weeks. This isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve been through this several times since 2025. My thesis hasn’t changed: I think AI and semiconductors will perform very well over the next decade or two, and I’m sticking with it. When the market takes a downturn, I don’t immediately blame the structure of my funds. I chose those structures for a reason. I buy funds I like and believe fit the market conditions I’m investing in. Right now, my portfolio is only up 1.06% on NAV. It’s gone red a few times over the last year. I’ve been down around 10% and up around 30% on NAV in that time, so it’s been a wild ride. Funny thing is, I hate roller coasters. They scared me as a kid, and now I look at one and think, “Why the hell would I get on that?” I’ve never been much of a thrill seeker. The stock market is different for me. Apparently, this is where I’m willing to ride the roller coaster. I love buying dips in funds and stocks I’m bullish on. I tell my friends and family, “People think I’m a fool during a downturn because I’m buying what everyone else is jumping out of. If I think they’re wrong, I’m buying. When it’s over, you’ll think I’m a genius.” Expect me to get more intentional and active with my buying. I’m leaning toward putting that $16k in early. I want more $YRAM and $DRMY , but I’m keeping the cyclical nature of memory in mind. My longer-term conviction is stronger in the broader semiconductor and AI space, so I don’t want every new dollar going into memory. I’m really hoping $CHPY and $GPTY are red when the money hits my account. I want a lot more $GPTY at the right price and some more $CHPY , too. I already think $CHPY is at a good buying price, but I’d love a chance to add below my cost basis. I’ll keep buying $VGTX just slowly rather than throwing a lump sum at it. I need income right now, and it won’t pay what my current holdings do. Once my ultra-high-yield funds are back in the green on NAV, I plan to put more attention toward building that position. Follow me while I navigate this downturn. I don’t know whether it keeps going, but part of me hopes it does in the short term. I’d like those buying opportunities to still be there when the money arrives. I want my portfolio to show how I work to recover my NAV return while investing in a strategy that’s notorious for NAV erosion. That’s what I’m trying to do here, and I’m posting the process as it happens.

Very nice!! I'm a big Tech and AI fan. My portfolio has been getting hammered all week! 😅 I'm still 1000% bullish and have bought every day this week. I own some of those you speak of. Love CHPY, it has been a beast!! Also bought DRMY, apparently at the wrong time.🤣 I've been averaging down ever since the mayhem started. I have two more for you to consider. TMGN and NVIT. I have to say of all the ETFs I own. NVIT as a single stock, has to be one of the most stable and resilient of them all! A lot of folks turn their noses up at the single stocks. But most don't consider NVDA has 114 companies inside of it. The share price moved less than 50 cents all day today. While others bled. I see it as a good stabilizer for a high yield portfolio. And it still pays out a nice distribution weekly. Good luck with your endeavors. I'm trying to set my portfolio up to live out of as well.
