While I hit my first $100,000 a couple of years ago, I remember the determination, grit and hunger for it. Once I hit my first $100k, I really saw the power of compounding work in my favor. My hope is to help YOU get there in 2026. So, if you’re struggling here’s what helped me: 1. Don't borrow money to buy luxuries 2. Treat credit cards like debit cards 3. Pay off ALL consumer debt 4. If you can't buy it twice, don't buy it 5. Make investing a habit (just like bills) 6. Spend money to make more money 7. Remain a student & sharpen skills 8. Invest $20 of every $100 you earn 9. Develop an abundance mindset 10. Stop buying what you can make at home (yes, lunch and coffees) This is not only how I did it, but the discovery I made: Boring habits create rich lives 🤫

Having a $100k goal is terrific, but the idea that it's some magical # where compounding gets started is a bit misleading IMO... You've been fortunate, in that the market's been in a raging bull mode since you hit that $100k mark ~2yrs ago, allowing compounding to really take hold. If however we'd been in a bear market since, you wouldn't be talking about compounding off that $100k today.

Overall good, except "Treat credit cards like debit cards" is a little unclear. I assume that means don't charge the credit card unless you will have the cash to pay it in full when due.

I broke my 100k mark during the government shutdown. It has been nerve racking to say the least. Today we have Broke 135k. Being diligent has helped. Holding at All-Time highs has its ups and downs. I will say, I had some really profitable days when I was in the 30-50k mark. Today has been the most profitable day I have had since I broke 100k. It really is a beautiful ride.
