As the time keeps passing so fast and the world keeps moving in its way. I am taking the time to keep educating myself and obviously, educating my 7 months little girl who’s developing really fast 🤩. October 30th, 2025 was a starting point for my girlfriend and I took the decision to open this account for her studies if she ever decides to use it in the future. I took the time to go very conservative on the holdings in this account for her and only hold 6 stocks, all in the commodity cycle. I will rotate them when it’s time. I’ll revise it back at the end of this year. Portofolio YTD 54.25% Since inception 92.67% (in 4 months) My holdings are the following because I know many will ask 😉. $CGNT $ENB $USA $VOXR $WCP $IMG Have a good Sunday folks 🤙🏾. Note: this is not to tell you where to invest for your kids. I’m only sharing my strategy for mine and how it’s performing so far in case of interest.

She’s literally pointing at the dip saying “this is how it’s done dad, you buy now!” 😂

Financial literacy is missing from our children’s education but as a good Dad, we teach our children to be less spendy and more savey. Post secondary education is a must and your commitment to your daughters RESP will pay you both back 10 fold in the future

She knows better than to invest in Bitcoin and LAG7. She must be excited for tomorrow as oil will most likely go up!

@osmel86 Thanks for sharing, have you considered an InTrust Trading Account. I might have the name incorrectly. Non Reg Trading Account registered in her name where you perform the trades. The only catches I know of is you have to claim dividend income on your Tax Returns. You can't show funds flowing back and forth. And eventually if it grows large ny daughter will file tax returns on capital gains. I did it initially for my daughters birthday money and I wanted her to have funds outside of her RESP. . Also I make monthly donations to both RESP and NON REG Account . And for my retirement planning I include providing her with a monthly stipend initially $500/mth growing as required to help her with adult life what ever it will through her way, think very early inheritance and transfer of wealth. My ideal goal is she has funds for upto a PHD level of education and will be a millionaire buy the time she graduates. Idk if it will happen but I am gonna try. The only negative I have been told is she never worked to earn itand will probably blow it all way because easy money is lost easily..so we give her a weakly allowance 33% must towards investments and she geta to pick the investment or offer and idea.. I frankly don't care how she will spend it, that's on her as an adult.. I gotta know I set her up for success and the rest is on my little jelly bean, its her life. If you have any thoughts about this let me know. All the best brother!
