Hello everyone, Another tough week for my portfolio! As always I Contributed CAD$75. There were no sales this week and i bought: $CMCL ×1 $HYLD ×1 $HDIV ×2 $PAYI ×1 Portfolio performance was down 1.66 percentage points this week +9.07% → +7.41% YTD and the weekly scorecard wasn't pretty at all: 🟢 3 green 🔴 18 red Commodities had another difficult week, while Canadian banks provided some stability. But there was one bright spot. October income came in at $82.32. September was $82.04, so that's another monthly high, even if the increase was just 0.34%. And that's really what I've been thinking about lately. I love seeing the income stream grow, but distributions don't tell the entire story. Income matters. Total return matters. And protecting the portfolio's long-term ability to generate income matters too. That's why I'm increasingly focused on balancing high-income ETFs with broader diversification and traditional growth exposure. Two difficult weeks haven't changed my long-term objectives, but they've certainly reinforced the importance of understanding the risks. Full breakdown, rankings, and macro story in the new video. 🔗 Watch Episode 38 now: https://youtu.be/33XyHrn5xco How did your portfolio hold up this week? Cheers, A. Still contributing. Still reinvesting. Still learning. Still building.
