October month-end update on my move to income investing. My covered-call sleeves are on pace for ~$13.7K/mo gross. Without the frozen Spicy funds it’s $11.4K/mo, and that’s the number I actually plan on. Tech/AI sold off hard in October (Nasdaq ~6% below its Oct 6 high by Oct 23), so my CC ETFs sit 15.5% under what I invested. That’s unrealized. Distributions so far are 19.8% of invested capital, and net total return is +4.3%. My take: Core Evergreen is +14.1% and Boosters +13.2% net. Spicy (−33.0%) is the drag, and it stays frozen with no new money. The risk I watch most is $HHIS, at 34.9% of my CC income. One fund carrying over a third is too concentrated. Many of you keep asking me to share more of what’s behind these numbers: the fund-by-fund details, what I’d do differently, the mistakes. So I’m launching a YouTube channel soon to go deeper. More on that shortly. Not financial advice. Just sharing my own numbers. When tech sells off, do you watch price or income first?
