I'd like to know what are people's comments about only buying one ETF like VEQT/XEQT vs buying separate ETF like VFV, VOO, etc? Do you gain more year on year with individul ETF for the different sectors? What's your pick top 4 ETF picks?

It depends on your preferences. Some people might want to invest heavier into some kind of industry, or multiple.

I'd suggest to buy both. SP500 historically outperform a diverse ETF like XEQT. A nasdaq ETF like $QQQX, an sp500 $VFV , an everything ETF $XEQT and maybe 1 dividend ETF like $VDY or SCHD.
