Project Suncatcher
Google along with Planet Labs has launched Google's TPU into space using SpaceX rocket!
This is now the first AI compute into space. Excited to see where everyone is betting on Electricity shortage due to AI consumption, Google is thinking ahead of the curve! It's making Google's vertical integration model even stronger.
Its a win-win situation for both Google and SpaceX. In the future, Google would be needing more rockets to send the TPUs into space. Still, long way to go!
