I keep about 20% of my portfolio in cash for this reason. And 90% of the time I don’t take any opportunities to buy sales because I like my cash too much: Too scared to miss out on a killer opportunity in the future on one of my high conviction stock picks. I’m concentrated among around 7 total stocks and I’m waiting on huge 10% dip or more discount on any one of my investments to deploy my cash reserve 🔥.
